The Sawyer MX-S Heavy Duty Outfitter Oar Shaft's solid construction and 2lbs internal counterbalance are perfect for those oarsmen looking for a big, beefy oar that will stand up to the abuse of the big water rivers of the southwest. This is one of our favorites for the price vs. durability and performance. The core of the MX system is the longitudinal fiberglass shaft, combined with the Smoker WW or DyneLite Blades (sold separately), making for an extremely heavy-duty oar that has the best balance of strength, flex and durability.
