4CRS Annual Spring Boat Swap & Sale
April 17 – 18, 2021
The swap is back! Each spring, we hold our annual Boat Swap & Spring Sale, here at 4Corners Riversports. We fill our parking lot with tons of used kayaks, rafts, canoes, IKs, stand up paddle boards, paddles, PFDs, river gear and more! This is the largest boats swap in the southwest so don’t miss out!
Because of COVID-19 concerns, we will be providing a larger outdoor space than normal to spread out as much as we possibly can. We will also be limiting the number of people inside the store to less than 50% capacity, as well as the overall number of people in our outdoor selling area to a manageable number. We will be moving the majority of our registers outside to avoid having too many people inside the store trying to check out. For those that don’t feel comfortable coming to the physical event, you can always call us to place your order and schedule a contactless pickup, or for a date after the physical event.
Due to the lack of supply and excessive demand on new products, our discounts on new items will be much more limited this year than in years past. We will not be discounting any new boats or SUPs this season, and will not be doing a store wide discount. Select items will be discounted at 10% or more.
GEAR DROP-OFF PROCEDURE
- Please bring and wear a face mask while checking-in or unloading gear.
- If you used the Online Item Form: Our check-in assistant will hand you a copy of your digital check-in receipt with a copy of the waiver you sign and a list of each item. They will also give you a set of tags that you a responsible for checking accuracy and then properly affixing to the correct item.
- If you skipped the Online Item Form: Go to the garage like old times and we will put your products into our system and help you name and price them. Once stickers are printed we will ask you to match stickers to your items and place them in designated areas.
- Preferably, you will unload your own gear yourself into our designated cleaning zone. Our employees will direct you where each item needs to go. If you need assistance unloading, please let us know and we will have someone help you while adhering to social distancing protocols.
Please be aware that we will be allowing all gear to sit in the sun for several hours each day to help disinfect or dry gear. We will also be using sanitizing procedures advised by San Juan Basin Health. All gear will then sit in storage with minimal employee contact to help keep us all safe.
COMMISSION RATES: We offer you two choices, 10% if you want store credit (just to cover our credit card processing fees and inventory handling) or 20% if you want us to cut you a check. Payments will be processed within a week of the sale and checks will be mailed on or before April 30.
You set the pricing of your items, but we are more than happy to help recommend a value on your items. For boats and boards, we allow you to set a “low price”. This gives us a bit of bargaining room to help sell your boat/board if it hasn’t sold in the first few hours of the sale.
PURCHASED & UNSOLD GEAR PICK-UP PROCEDURE
Make sure you select Local Pickup at check-out if you want to pick up your purchased gear at the shop. Feel free to call us and we can bring your purchased gear to your vehicle, or have it ready at our outdoor pick-up zone. Please bring a copy of your ID and a physical or digital copy of your receipt.
Unsold gear must be picked up by 5:00 PM Monday April 19th. *All gear that is not picked up within 1 week will be considered donated.*
