Instructions for Use
Do not overtighten Screw Lid Top- Simply snug the top screw lid in place until the foam gaskets meet. The Toilet is designed to be carried in an upright position. The top lid seal is suitable for normal splashing and sloshing, but is not leak-proof if the toilet is carried on its side or upside down.
We recommend a Coyote Toilet Strap to make lashing the system to your rig a breeze.
Before use, pour a small amount of Aqua-Kem and water in the bottom. After each use, a small amount lye, powdered bleach, or sand helps absorb moisture and keep the box fresh. A splash of Aqua-Kem is recommended after each third use. Place the Screw Lid over the toilet seat opening when not in use to keep flies and critters out.
To Flush-Out- Go to the nearest RV dump station and make sure and have the Drain Hose and Hose to Box Adaptor. Tilt the Box so the 3″ Plug can be removed without spillage. Screw the Drain Hose into this fitting and run the hose into the RV dump. Remove the 3/4″ Plug and attach the Hose Adaptor. Attach garden hose to the box. Before turning on the water, let gravity flow drain what it can from the box. Use a little water from the hose to soften contents as necessary. As contents begin to drain, turn the water on. Shaking the Box with the water running will help move the contents out. After a thourough flushing, open the Screw Lid Top and spray the corners clean. Hot soapy water can be used next for more complete sanitation of the box. Before storing, pour a little Aqua-Kem in the box to keep it smelling fresh for your next trip.
Now that wasn’t so bad, was it? Thanks for keeping our river corridors clean!
