Instructions for Use
*Do not over-tighten Screw Lid Top- Simply snug the top screw lid in place until the foam gaskets meet. The toilet is designed to be carried in an upright position.
*Do not overtighten 3” drain cap – Doing so will compress the gasket and cause it to leak. Hand tighten only.
– Before use, pour a small amount of Aqua-Kem and water in the box. After each use, a small amount of lye, powdered bleach, or sand helps absorb moisture and keep odors to a minimum. A splash of Aqua-Kem and a sprinkle of powdered bleach is recommended each day of use. Place the screw lid over the toilet seat opening when not in use to keep flies and animals out.
To Flush Out – At the nearest RV dump station, tilt the box on its side so that the 3” drain plug is facing up. Remove the 3” drain plug and attach the hose. Place the end of the hose in the RV dump hole. Remove the 3/4” plug and attach the hose adapter, then attach a garden hose to the adapter. Allow gravity to drain most of the waste from the box by tipping the box on its side slightly, then turn on the garden hose. Shaking the box with the water running will help remove as much waste as possible. After a thorough flush, open the top lid and use the garden hose to spray out the corners and any excess waste (use low pressure to prevent spray back). Hot soapy water or bleach water mix can then be used to help sanitize the box. Before storing, add a small amount of Aqua-Kem to prevent excess odors.
