Winter Roll Sessions

Winter pool roll sessions are held at the Durango Recreation Center. Rec Center kayak pool nights are Tuesdays from 7-8:45 pm, and are open to the general public for a fee. You must pre-register for this class by calling 4Corners Riversports at 970-259-3893 at least one week before the desired date. The cost of the class is $50 and that includes your kayak drop in fee with one kayak - you will pay $50 to the Rec Center when you arrive on the evening of your class.

Although pre-registration with 4CRS is required, this class is on a first come first serve basis. The Rec Center only allows 20 boats per night in the pool. If 20 boats have already gone in the door before you arrive then the class will be re-scheduled to the next week.

Often during the busy season, which is usually in the Spring, the Rec Center will add an additional kayak pool night on Thursdays from 7-8:45 pm. If this is the case, we will also offer roll sessions on those nights. Please call to inquire.

The 4CRS pool closed for the winter on September 18, 2009. Our pool will re-open around the beginning of May 2010. When our pool is open we hold 1.5 hour roll sessions for $35.

Kids Kayak Camp - New for 2010

Mix and match any three Levels of kids hard shell or inflatable kayak classes. Start with an Inflatable or Level 1 class and go from there! You may take as many of the same level of classes as necessary. We will call to confirm the classes you would like to choose, they can be modified later to fit the students needs. Must be the same student attending all classes. Includes all necessary equipment and transportation.
