Instructor Profiles

Drew Beezley

DREW BEEZLEY - ACA Instructor Trainer / Paddle School Director

I started teaching kayaking for 4CRS Paddle School in 2004. The MU Canoe and Kayak Club is what originally sparked my interest in kayak instruction. From there I went on to receive an ACA kayak instructor certification through Miah Wheeler. Then several years later became an Instructor Trainer through Kent Ford's amazing instruction. These classes not only gave me a much more in-depth knowledge of kayaking, but also helped to strengthen my personal kayaking skills.

Drew Fischer

DREW FISCHER - ACA Instructor / Guide / Pool Boy

I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina and first rolled a kayak in the pool at UNC where I graduated with a Recreation and Tourism Service Management Degree in 2002. After school I found myself yearning for the west with the strong motivator being the fresh, deep, snow, of which I found here in Durango. Needless to say, the snow has to melt and I also found whitewater! It became a major passion and part of my life quickly. I am so lucky to get to share my love for this area and these activities all year round as my job!!

Insterests:

play boating, creek boating, snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, exploring

CRUISE QUENELLE - ACA Instructor

Cruise Quenelle

I was raised by two kayakers in sweet home Alabama. I have lived in Durango off and on for five years. Other than teaching for 4Corners Kayak School, I enjoy teaching snowboarding at DMR. Kayaking is the best way to fill my obsession for exploring. There is no better place to live than the San Jauns if you like exploring. Class V creek races are my new thing. Other interests include Mountain biking, back country snowboarding, wake skating and skateboarding.
