When you want your oars held firmly in the vertical position - even in the biggest whitewater, you'll need pins and clips. NRS heavy-duty steel 9" pins are held in place with a steel/nylon locknut. A molded rubber safety bumper on top prevents injury. Replaceable 3 1/2" PVC bushings protect pin and clip from wear. Powdered coated steel clips attach to the oar with two heavy-duty stainless steel hose clamps. Oar stirrups are recommended to prevent oars from getting away during tough maneuvers.

Don't forget your spare oar clip, and it's wise to carry a spare pin assembly in your repair kit.
