Fire Pans are required on all permitted rivers in our area. And even if not, they should be used whenever camping out in areas without designated fire pits. They keep campsites clean, allow you to haul away the ashes, and it is just the right thing to do.

The Cambridge Fire Pans will both contain a fire and provide a cooking surface. The legs position the pan off the ground keeping it from scortching and allowing easier stoking and cooking. The adjustable steel grill and outrigger shelves are strong enough for a couple of large pails of water. The grill and legs fit inside the pan for compact stowage, and are contained by the included aluminum lid. They are Forest Service approved for all rivers, including the Grand Canyon of the Colorado. Cambridge steel pan is 15"x 24"x 3", 28 lbs.
