The Coosa is the first sit on top fishing kayak to be designed
specifically for mild whitewater and stillwater rivers. This really is
the first ALL water fishing kayak. Designed by professional kayak
fisherman Drew Gregory, the Coosa is packed full of essential fishing
features in an ultra stable, easy to maneuver and stand on hull design.
The Coosa features multiple rod and paddle staging areas, making it
quick and easy to switch from paddle to rod. The wide and flat standing
area combined with the super stable hull, make standing up to sight
cast a breeze. The innovative Hi/Lo seat allows you to adjust height and
overall stability while seated while allowing for small tackle box
storage underneath. Tallon recesses in the hull allow for mounting
Scotty or RAM accessories for more easy access to your rods. Recessed
chain channels allow you to mount a retractable drag chain for slow
drifting through your favorite fishing areas and locking bow and stern
hatches keep all your gear secure on and off the water.
Jackson crafted the
length and superb stability of the hull to master all
forms of fishing….from fishing the weeds, stalking the flats, hitting
rocky shores, sliding by eddy-lines, busting coastal waves to get to
offshore spots to mid-lake trolling.Moving
water, narrow flats, bushed-in waterways, oxbow lakes and whitewater are
natural feeding grounds for all river fish and most of the action is
found in these narrows, stretches and rapids. For generations some of
these grounds have been missed simply due to inaccessibility; hidden
oxbow lakes from rivers, pools loaded with un-fished territory in between
rapids and much more. The Coosa’s ‘creek-style’ hull design, secondary
stability, whitewater-esq ‘rocker’ all make for a performing river
craft. It turns tight, slips shallow to get over debris, bumps and
grinds shallow river beds and punches holes and waves in class IV
whitewater… getting you to some of the most untouched fishing grounds on
earth!
