The Swiftwater Rescue Technician Level III course is only available for guides who have completed a SRT II or have extensive whitewater experience. This demanding four-day course will cover, in addition to the SRT II skills: live bait rescues, zip lines, high-line tyrolean, and night search. A major portion of this class is scenario based. To receive the SRT Level III certification, students must pass a written exam, dynamic swim, anchors, knots, mechanical advantage, and throwbag test. This is the perfect course for river and rescue professionals who want to take their swiftwater rescue skills to the next level. This course is NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 1670/1006 Compliant.
